NOTE: We cordially invite the entire Jewish community to join us in “outdoor hakofos” at 8:15 PM on Simchas Torah night. By openly rejoicing in the street, singing and dancing and joining all Jews together, we demonstrate the vitality of Judaism here in our own community and publicly declare our yiddishkeit to a skeptical yet seeking neighborhood. If we influence even one Jew to appreciate the beauty of Torah, dayenu – and especially if that one Jew is ourself!

So come, bring the children, and join with us. Let us all dance together: here on the Jewish Lower East Side today; in Yerushalayim habnuya tomorrow!
